Visitors to The GPT Group's Charlestown Square this Christmas shopping season have already started discovering a new service. To help shoppers make the most of their visit, roaming customer service staff will be armed with an iPad app developed by Enigma Digital.
The app's welcoming "How can I help you?" screen invites visitors to make enquiries of staff, who with a swipe of a finger can then assist with the following services directly from the app:

A recent report highlighted the expected boom in sales of tablet computers, led at this stage by the Apple iPad. Among many other advancements, these devices are highly portable and provide a very immersive online browsing experience.
In terms of growth, it is estimated that the 15.7 million tablet computer sales worldwide in 2010 will increase to 43.6 million in 2011 and 81.3 million by 2012.
